Office License Expiration: This report provides server administrators with information about Tableau desktop licenses that have expired or need to be increased in your organization. Your maintenance or subscription bill is linked to the email notification sent by your Customer Renewal Manager or Tableau Software. If you can`t find this email, you can contact your Customer Renewal Manager or email Customer Success. You`ll also find your bill on Tableau`s customer portal. If you do not have access to the portal, please contact your administrator. Important: The Tableau licensing service was transferred to a new data center on October 6, 2018. This means that all environments that need a specific configuration (z.B. secure static ip list) to access licensing.tableau.com or licensing.tableau.com need to be updated before you can turn a Table product key on, update or disable. For indeterminate licenses, maintenance continues to have access to technical support and product upgrades. If you stop your maintenance, you can continue to use Tableau, but you lose access to technical support and product upgrades. You can also turn a product key on or off or update a maintenance product key in that dialog box. Update (Table Desktop): Click the Update button to update an expiring maintenance license, then close Tableau Desktop and restart it. If the maintenance date is not updated, contact your license administrator because the key or maintenance contract may have changed. A product key whose license is specified as ”Permanent” as shown in the Handle Product Keys dialogue box above is a legacy product key. You can update a permanent product key at any time, as long as the maintenance end date on the Tableau customer portal is higher than the date displayed in the Manage Product Keys dialog box. Depending on the type of license you have, non-renewal of maintenance or subscriptions has different results. If you are unsure of the license of your product, please contact your Customer Renewal Manager. We accept maintenance renewals delayed up to six months after the completion of maintenance, with a rehiring fee of 25% per license.
