Saw movie on TV tonight, "Carrington," which led me to a net search which led me to your Virginia Woolf page. As an English major some 35 years ago, I had a senior seminar in her and remember reading "To the Lighthouse," et al. Now, just retired after teaching for 35 years and having the time, I find your page has inspired me to reread all those long-forgotten novels. I never had much time to spend on the more modern literature inasmuch as I centered on Ango-Saxon, Shakespearean, and the modern American novelists.

Njaejaa... skulle väl bli svaret på den frågan. Från början var nämligen gästboken en gratistjänst hos Baltic Internet Plaza (och uppdaterades automatiskt), men de lade ner sin tjänst som gick ut på att man fick gratis hemsidor mot att de lade in annonsbanners på sidorna, och då ville jag inte byta till någon annan gratistjänst. Alltså löste jag det med att uppdatera för hand - för att på så sätt kunna moderera gästboken och lägga in mina svar.

Tackar för berömmet - som jag inte alls förtjänar. Anfangs layout gjorde jag för ett par webläsarversioner sedan, innan jag kunde så mycket html. Den är alltså specialdesignad för Netscape Navigator 2 (eller nåt sånt) och testades aldrig på någon annan webläsare.
Detta är naturligtvis inte att rekommendera, och tittar man på Anfang nr 2 '96 ser det inte alltför roligt ut i de senaste browserversionerna.
Angående att informationen om anfang är ”gömd” i loggan så stämmer det inte riktigt, eftersom det även finns en textlänk på förstasidan till sidan där redaktionen är presenterad. Där får man en länk till en ”om anfang-sida”. Hade jag gjort detta idag skulle jag naturligtvis lagt in den länken på förstasidan också.
Jag är mycket förvånad (och ganska så smickrad) att ni har fått som uppgift att recensera anfang. Vad är det för utbildning ni går?
Tar gärna emot en kopia av recensionen via mail om ni skrivit den på dator.

It's a nice initiative putting together a book of poems by local poets. Publishing your poems yourself seems often to be the only alternative for young, unestablished poets these days if you want to reach out to people (of course, the Internet is another way...). I know of others who have done the same thing.
I liked your poems. They have an urban feel, and I can tell you are inspired by the beat poets. Right?

Har aldrig varit i Dublin, men tror säkert att det är en trevlig stad. Trevligare än London? Nja... är det möjligt? Det går ju att dricka Guinness där också! ;-)
Angående kritiken av AB: Det vore trevligt om du ville ge några konkreta exempel. På vilket sätt är AB på nätet dåligt? Själv tycker jag att det är en utmärkt kvällstidning i nätformat, och något annat ska den ju inte vara heller. ...Men tack så mycket för de 5 getingarna, Roy!
